Visit of the scientific team of Hellenic Mediterranean University to the greenhouses

The visits to the pilot greenhouses of the Agricultural Cooperative of Tympaki began by the team of the scientific director of Hellenic Mediterranean University, Professor Emmanuel Roditakis, in the framework of assessing the current situation for the treatment of the insect Tuta absoluta. During the review, on-site monitoring of the progress of the insect populations was carried out and new data from the pilot greenhouses were compared and entered into the information database. The data collected, together with the testing of different plant protection strategies, will help to derive optimal and innovative plant protection approaches within the framework of Integrated Pest Management.
